Our projects range from restorations of Rijksmonumenten and inner-city transformations to complete new build designs. We offer both private and commercial clients a tailor-made design approach that best suits their needs and specific project requirements. We find the ‘genius loci’ or the ‘soul’ of a place very important and our visual translation of this ideology can be seen in the broad scope of work in our portfolio. Every situation requires a different design.

Conceptual design
Every project starts with an analysis of the existing situation and the wishes of the client. We then interpret this information into a spatial study comprising of conceptual sketches, floor plans, 3D models and reference images. While the fundamental design principles for the project are established in this phase, there is of course still the opportunity and flexibility for discussion and change.
Definite design
In this phase, the project progresses from the conceptual to a detailed design. Possible alternatives are discussed and worked out, planning permission applications begin, and necessary external advisors are brought into the project team. Our vast experience and broad network of specialists are extremely useful to us in this phase.
Building preparation
In preparation for the project going to site, we further detail the definite design for tender and construction purposes. We produce detailed drawings, write technical specifications and define the conditions on which a suitable contractor will be selected in the tender process.
Building management
All the previous design phases come together in this last phase where, for the first time, the design becomes tangible. We ensure an easy and successful construction process and prefer to remain involved on site until completion. In this way we can guarantee the planning, costs and the quality of the end result.
